hello world!
no photos at the moment cos i am on the hotel's computer and as far as i can see there is no slot for a memory card.
MM! SO WHAT HAVE I BEEN UP TO IN PHUKET?
in a nutshell:
- watching prostitutes swarm upon innocent european men walking by themselves, carrying a yellow card (that presumably holds prices for their services) jabbering excitedly. they are so full on, they latch on and refuse to let go and have to literally be shaken off.
- eating lots of thai food, seafood, tried the mango sticky rice and stuff.. yum =D
- driver takes us around phuket to the different beaches and tells us about how his car 'go to tsunami and no come back' and how his 'wife change husband' when 'tsunami no money money' overall a very nice guy who's been chauffering us around with no fuss whatsoever even though we are possibly the most annoying customers who change our minds every few minutes.
- seen many a transsexual. here they are called 'ladyboys' and tomorrow i am going to a cabaret show where according to the taxi driver, is full of 'bootiful ladyboy!'
- went to a thai cultural show tonight. held a baby tiger, fed it milk, took some photos, patted some baby elephants. the elephants are sooo well trained that they do sitting, hopping, bowing etc, and the small ones are especially cute coz they're like, as tall as me or something :D i rather liked the baby tiger, it grabbed onto the milk bottle and wouldnt let go. cuuuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
- MELINA if you're reading this, at the cultural show they have a sorta wall of fame thing where they put up pics of all celebs who have visited them.. guess who i saw.. LIN ZHI YIN :p i guess he is some sort of celeb after all.
- shopped in lots of local flea markets. cheap cheap stuff, except they are all imitation. who cares, they look pretty authentic, i've bought myself some bags and wallets ;)
- suntanned. i am rather burnt now and red and itchy, due to an innocent lying in the sun for about 15 mins. i didn't know i burn quite so easily. hopefully i don't start peeling, now THAT would be gross.
- tomorrow i am going scuba diving and snorkelling! i hope there are no stingrays or sharks cos i practically had to beg my sister to do it with me, she kept muttering something about steve irwin and casting nervous glances at the paper where she had to sign something about how the diving company takes no responsibility for your deaths.

alrightys. i'm off my loves. fingers crossed, i'm starting to get nervous cos in a couple of days it is The Big Day.
